Timothy C. Ural, Founder and CEO
Tim Ural is a visionary leader with a formidable blend of expertise in financial services and technology, making him a trailblazer in the global payments and fintech industry. As Vice President of Global Client Management and Commercial Products at Visa, Tim has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive transformative business growth and lead expansive product innovation across key global accounts and commercial solutions.
Tim's professional acumen spans a wide array of domains, including the execution of global strategies, strategic product management, and the cultivation of impactful partnerships. His leadership style is defined by his commitment to building and leading high-performing teams, adeptly managing multicultural collaborations, and maintaining rigorous financial accountability. Tim's sharp analytical skills in competitive and market analysis enable him to devise forward-thinking solutions that resonate across diverse industries.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Tim has been instrumental in delivering cutting-edge products, including virtual payments, mobile payments, analytics, and virtual accounts. His strategic leadership has driven substantial revenue and volume growth across sectors such as travel, insurance, and healthcare. With a proven track record in dynamic, international environments, Tim leverages his expansive global network to consistently deliver exceptional value to clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Tim's journey with Visa began in 2006 as a program manager, where he was responsible for overseeing the small and mid-market segment within information management products and services. Over the past seventeen years, he has made significant contributions to product development, program management, and sales/consulting within the Visa Commercial Products team. Before joining Visa, Tim held prestigious roles in product management at IBM, spearheaded business ventures in equities trading with Morgan Stanley, and contributed to e-commerce and supply chain management initiatives for Oracle and Salesforce.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Eckerd College and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida. He has also pursued graduate studies at Columbia Business School in New York City and completed the INSEAD – Fair Process Leadership program, further enhancing his diverse skill set and expertise.
